139 - O Come Little Children
1. O come little children, O come one and all
To Bethlehem hasten, in manger so small
God's Son for a gift has been sent you this night.
To be your Redeemer, your joy and delight.
2. O see in the manger, this strange little bed.
The Son, sweet and gentle, is resting His head.
In swaddling clothes lying so meek and so mild.
Yet purer than angels, the heavenly Child.
3. On hay and straw in the manger He lies.
Both Mary and Joseph, with fond loving eyes.
Are gazing upon it and shepherds draw near.
And Jubilant angels from heaven appear.
