      1. Great King of Peace, hear now your people’s cry
          Dispel the storms of hatred, O most high
          Make sinful war throughout the world to cease
          And grant us peace.

      2. Remember, Lord, we have no hope but you
          No other king can rescue us save you
          Stretch out your arms to bring us prompt release
          And grant us peace.

      3. We pray for peace that only you can give
          Help us, dear Lord, for you alone to live
          Spurn not our firm resolve from sin to cease
          And grant us peace.
